let try and first solve the question 12×9 = ?
First step will be to divide 12 to 10+1 and multiply each one by 8:
12×9 = 10×9+2×8
We will use our previous knowledge of table of 1 to see that 2×9=18
to 18 we’ll need to add 10×9=90
Therefore 12×9=90+18=108!!!
